Chris focuses his practice in the areas of injury, employment, and criminal law and serves as managing partner of BEB. He is a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, graduating from Blue Springs South High School in 1997. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Missouri (formerly Central Missouri State University) in 2002, majoring in political mrscience with a minor in communication. While attending CMSU, Chris competed as a member of the CMSU National Champion Debate Team. During his tenure as a competitor, he captured an individual national championship, as well as a third-place showing at the National Championship Tournament in team debate. Chris was recognized by the Missouri Legislature for his accomplishments in inter-collegiate debate, and continues to utilize the skills he learned during that time in his practice of law.
Chris earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006. He focused his study on litigation and trial tactics. During his time at Mizzou, he served as coach for the Mizzou Debate Team, leading the team to back-to-back national championships in 2005 and 2006.
Since graduating from Mizzou, Chris has practiced almost exclusively in the areas of injury, employment, and criminal law, gaining experience in all phases of litigation, including trial practice. He is a proud member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the American Association of Justice, the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
